Full Circle

Everything comes round in a circle, round and round it goes.
Keep that someone in your heart, but in a circle,
Round and round it goes.

In truth, things said and done will come back
To haunt you or please you,
Round and round it goes.

What you give today, will be given back to you tomorrow or the next day
How you treat people, will find its way back to you,
Round and round it goes.

Life is like a beach ball, one bounce and the motion could change everything.

Missing

My heart has gone missing,
I’ll put up a flyer, has anyone seen it?
You’ve been desperately missed, find your way back.

I need a mountain top to scream it out, maybe you will hear
Please come back, you are not wanted there.
You belong to me, you are my heart to keep.

Emptiness swallows me live, let me feel my heart beating again
You are no fool, you just did not listen to the mind.
Dear heart, a hard fall only makes one stronger.

Love Makers Part 2

The days turned into weeks, and now months,
Full of new smells, sounds and songs.
Let’s sip of wine, oh my, it’s been a year since we met,
Three hundred and sixty five days has taught this girl a lot; your smell, sounds and songs.

How could I regret meeting you?
Well easy, if I allowed the heart sinking moments to rule.
But I do remember moments that were good,
Bringing a smile to my face everytime I see you, maybe turn red, whichever you prefer.

Dear friend, it was the joining of two strangers,
Whether I call it all an experience or something else,
You became someone that laughed with me,
A special someone, a special friend.

Every moment with you, were new moments for me altogether.
Making all the twelve episodes unforgettable,
If you are to remember one thing from all of this,
Please know there is always a special place in my heart where you sit.

Traffic Lights

Tree after tree, bird after bird
She’s on a trip to escape her thoughts.
She knows not what is behind it all,
But before her light hits go, it consistently changes to amber.

Her light always seemed to be green
No more green lights, the green begins it all.
The light is now red, so back away from her carefully,
She has officially shut the door to a dream.

Upclose Silliness

I want to free myself of all this,
Speak the mind, just let it go,
But then I think about your awkward ways,
So instead I feel this heavy heart sink low.

Cruisin’ in the sun, surrounded by familiar laughs,
She hears a song that usually brings a smile.
Instead, behind her black frames tears form,
All of a sudden she has lost control.

She doesn’t understand what’s going on,
“Little girl, why do you feel something so sharp?”
But see after the first, she made a silent promise,
Your visits in her dreams broke the promise somehow.

The heart was tickled and now itches, it makes her weak,
Don’t look too long into her eyes,
They might just speak; speak things of affection,
Just like those times when “up-close silliness” took over.

The Spring of Life

The arrival of spring, brings such a rush,
I look outside at the warm light,
See a crow contemplating its life.
Its sadness reminds me of you,
And your nonchalant ways of rejecting her insights.

I know life is contradictory,
One day life’s adrenaline is high,
And the next all seems to die.
I just remind myself I still got more of me to spill,
That day will smell of sweet sheets, coffee and daffodils.

Feel that warm and cool breeze,
Reap the benefits of life, take a squeeze.
For living life without the trials of love,
Is an idea which only finds itself floating above.

Let her love you, let him tease you,
Cause one day, you’ll feel your lonely hands,
And wish that person was right beside you.

Confessions of sacred words of love he gives to her,
She won’t accept, how can she?
He blew infinite amount of chances to have every part of her,
It’s too late, the heart was torn, and now he has no part of her.

Where are you my sincere, funny careless haired man?
Not the exact question that goes through every girl’s head.
As she sings, she remembers how much of her she forces herself to keep,
For now at least, until she feels it again, from her head to her feet.

Night Writing

Friday night, want nothing more but to put pen to paper,
Light that candle, play some tunes,
I find relief as the ink flows
Secrets pour into a tangible form.

Ever since she went, thoughts of you disappearing forever came to me,
The sight of sadness appeared in my eyes,
Quivering lips try to stay composed,
As she avoids being defeated, she surrenders.

Death is a thing that sometimes arrives either expectedly or suddenly.
Your sudden death kept me in a dreary state of mind,
As I looked through your dedications and smiling faces,
The truth is you went too soon.

Your body leaving the Earth left a clear message,
A message sent to friends all over.
Keep those who care close, remember the little things,
The little things say the most.
